Ideas of films and television programs presented by the media festival finalists at the scenario pitching

A unique scenario pitching for children’s television studios and young authors claiming to receive financial support for their projects took place on the site of the XI DYTIATKO International Children’s Media Festival.

Six works in the nomination “Film” and three projects of the television program were presented as a part of the shortlist of scenario pitching, predetermined by the organizing committee of the festival, future television men, filmmakers, screenwriters, cameramen, animators and TV presenters.

Andrii Kulykov, media expert, co-founder of Public Radio, was a moderator of the pitching. The Jury of the Festival includes Zoia Alferova, professor, dean of the cinema and television art department of Kharkiv State Academy of Culture, Natalia Morozova, director, president of the KINOMIR International Children’s Film and Television Festival, Kateryna Yaresko, head of the Department of Social Communications of S. Kuznets KhNEU, candidate of pedagogical sciences, Iryna Sakhaltuieva, director of Key Animation studio and Volodymyr Khanas, expert of the Academy of Capacity Building of Local Communities and Ternopil Film Commission, regional coordinator of the Dokudays UA International Documentary Film Festival in Ternopil Region.

The pitching participants had 7 minutes to present their ideas to interest the experts and 7 minutes to exchange views.

After the authors’ presentation of the ideas of films and programs, the jury expressed a wish for a better structuring of projects, a clearer definition of the idea, super tasks and the target audience.

The experts positively noted all the projects, however, according to the jury, the most attractive projects will be named on September 7th, during the summing up of the XI DYTIATKO International Children’s Media Festival.
