Films from 91 countries were submitted for participation in the 10th anniversary DYTIATKO International Children’s TV Festival

“Almost one thousand three hundred films and TV programs were sent by the participants of the festival from 91 countries of the world this year. Over a thousand studios, clubs and directors will compete for the right to represent their work in the contest program of the 10th anniversary DYTIATKO International Children’s Television Festival, which will take place in Kharkiv from 5 to 8 of September”, – such information was announced speaking about the end of the first organizational stage of the festival by Sergii Chernov, the Chairman of the Organizing Committee, the Chairman of Kharkiv Regional Council.

“It is nice to know and, of course, important for us that not only the circle of participants expands every year but also the geography of the festival. The representatives of 10 other countries, including Iceland, Cuba, Paraguay, Luxembourg, Tanzania, Oman and others became part of the “Dytiatko” family this year, – Sergii Chernov said. – Traditionally, the largest amount of festival works is sent from India, USA, Iran and France. For the first time at the festival Ukraine is represented by its all regions, including Donetsk and Luhansk regions, as well as the Autonomous Republic of Crimea”.

Sergii Chernov, the president of the festival, assured that the participants and guests will have an eventful and interesting contest and cultural program, “since we have winners and laureates of Berlinale, international children film festivals in Toronto and Montreal (Canada), Zlin (Czech Republic), Chemnitz (Germany) and so on among the submitted works”.
