Directors from 94 countries have already announced participation in DYTIATKO Festival this year
The preparation to XII DYTIATKO International Children’s Media Festival founded by Kharkiv Regional Council is going on under the conditions of quarantine. The organization committee accepts applications for participation in 25 nominations and special nominations of the festival – personal, group, thematic ones – with the deadline no later than May 31, 2020.
At the present moment 743 competitive projects have been submitted by 683 participants from 94 countries. Iran, India, the USA, France, Ukraine take the lead.
Sergii Chernov, President of the Media Festival, Chairman of Kharkiv Regional Council, noted that “back in the day this festival was founded with the purpose to fight against negative side of things dominated in the national television and filmland. Over these twelve years the situation with activity of children’s studios in Ukraine has brought a vast improvement. Quite a number of new available online formats have appeared recently, more quality children’s content is being created.”
Sergii Chernov, a founder of the Festival, stated that DYTIATKO is not standing still as well.
”This year few new nominations have been introduced: “The Best Series for Children” and “Best Social Advertisement by a Children’s Studio”. We have a positive feedback related to this initiative and the projects are being submitted. We expect the same activity from young bloggers, we first introduced to them the contest of video bloggers “DYTIATKO.Like”. Besides, there is an extra opportunity – a new All-Ukrainian Children’s Contest of Graphic Design “DYTIATKO.Art”.
We appreciate and take delight in participation of authors from other countries. But especially we cheer for our national video makers and our Ukrainian and Slobozhansky media area. So, we invite all tele-, radio-, online studios to join the festival family DYTIATKO and submit the projects.
