Adventures, dramas, crime stories were presented at the current scenario pitching

The finalists of the XII iDYTIATKO International Children’s Media Festival presented the ideas of their films and TV programs to the festival jury during a scenario pitching today.

Artem Konovalov, program Director of the non-government organization “Center for community development”, media expert, became the moderator of the pitching held in the Zoom network. The jury members were film and television experts, namely: Director of the international film distribution company “Kinolife”, member of the Ukrainian film Academy – Ilya Svidler; Director of animated films, screenwriter, cameraman – Manuk Depoyan; writer, screenwriter – Tetiana Postavna.

Each team had to make a presentation of the idea of its project – a film or TV program – in seven minutes. Then the jury members asked questions, gave recommendations and advice. In general, young authors were advised to learn how to convey an idea briefly and clearly, structure their speech, and support it through media accompaniment in order to capture the listener’s attention from the first sentence.

As a result of the scenario pitching, the authors of the best and original projects will receive funding for their implementation. The shortlist of scenario pitching, determined by the organizing Committee of the XII DYTIATKO International Children’s Media Festival contains twelve works – six films and TV programs.
